Hi all,

I don't know whether this is the place to post my post..

Any way i ll tel the problem.

i'm going to make a DAQ with help of TLC5540 (ADC) and PIC18F4550.

i have read the "Interfacing the TLC5540 Analog to Digital Converter to the TMS320C203-80 DSP " to see how the circuit diagram for connecting.

But i have no idea about how to interface the my cct. Do I need a any other IC for interface with the PIC18f4550.

Im in a difficult situation.please help me.

Hi Janaranjana,

You are going to have to look at the I/O voltages of both the TLC5540 and your controller. If your controller can tolerate 5V input signals, you should not need any additional chips. The TLC5540 falls under the 'high speed' ADC category so if you have additional questions, you can post them directly to the High-Speed Data Converter forum.
