  • Hello Aaron,

The 01295 marking is the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code assigned to the Texas Instruments by the US Defense Logistics Agency.  7320 is the datecode showing the parts being built in week 20 of 1973.    SP4614 or SPY614 may be a TI part number or an in-house part number for a customer. Based on the presence of the CAGE Code, If I had to guess it was most likely built on the military discrete transistor line.  The oldest data book I have on hand is circa 1971 but does not have any discrete transistors listed with an “SP” prefix.  I also checked Military Handbook MIL-HDBK-5961A List of Standard Semiconductor Devices and didn’t find anything.

In 1990 TI sold the military discrete power and small signal transistor product lines to Microsemi Power Technology Components Division.  You may have better luck searching there.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.   Perhaps someone else reading this may find something.
