I'm using the TVP5150EVM to test AVID cropping function.
I turned to the synchronization sheet of the property sheets. When adjusting HSYNC start and VBLK start and stop, nothing happened. When given a positive value to AVID start, the video was cropped from the left side. Given a positive value to AVID stop, the video moved to the left while a negative resulted in moving to the right.
Why these registers do not work properly?
And I was told there are some indirect registers can do the cropping thing. I did as the PDF said to write new value to modify the HSYNC position, but with no luck, nothing happened again.
Any suggestions to solve this problem? Thank you in advance!
