CCS/AMC1200: The AMC1200 overload capacity is weak

Part Number: AMC1200

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi All,

We used the AMC1200 in the inverter(0.75KW/380V),the output current is 2.5A when the U/V/W is no-load,theoretically,according to the design,

the inverter is truned off  in 1 minute when 150% overload(the output current is 5A) and in 3 minutes when 200% overload(the output current is 5A),

but now, access the load(motor or others),the inverter will be turned off when the output current is 3-4A if the 200& overload.

Can your team help to analyze the issue, thanks.

the diagram is on the attachement to evaluate(we used the ACPL-C790 is OK in the production).

  • Hi John,

I see no shunt in the AMC1200 schematic you provided. I don't understand the scenario you provided, can you please give more detail? Is this issue related to Code Composer Studio? Feel free to talk with your local FAE and have them contact me directly.
