I received my eval board but my power supply was current limiting (500mA) when powered at 6V. I'm measuring less than an ohm between Vin and ground. DSP is the device that seems to warm up if I increase the current limit.

Mouser is asking that I address the issue in this forum before they will allow a return.

Thank you for your post and interest in the ADS1298.

Is the resistance measurement with the daughter card removed and MMB0 powered off? If not, please re-measure.

Have you verified that the jumpers of the ADS1298-PDK and MMB0 are correctly installed?

This can be seen on page 10-12 of the user guide: ADS1298EVMUserGuide.pdf

Indeed the daughter board was detached and the MMB0 was powered off during the 1 ohm measurement. Also the daughter board jumpers were correct and I had removed the J13A and B jumpers from the MMB0 per the instruction.

Hi Will,

I have confirmed on a few of our boards that the connection between Vin and ground should be high impedance. Is it acceptable to contact you at your email address for next steps?
