DAC7573: Does the DAC output require an OP AMP configuration?

Part Number: DAC7573

Dears:

Could you kindly help to check the design:

1. Address Use A0, A1. If A2, A3 is not used, is it OK about the below design?
2. If the DAC output VREFL and VREFH circuits is together, is it wrong, how can we design it?.
3. Does the DAC output require an OP AMP configuration? If necessary, how can we design it?.

  • Lian,

All of the address pins need to be connected to logic high or logic low for reliable communication. If A2 and A3 are left floating, the address configuration is unknown. It looks like they have these pins connected to test points so maybe they were planning to use some external source to configure those pins?

I do not understand the second question. Can you clarify please?

The DAC output is a buffered voltage - there is an internal amplifier. Therefore an amplifier is not required to use the DAC.
  • Hello Lian,

Do you have any clarification on the second question?
