TSW14J56EVM: How to achieve that one HSDC PRO software control two TSW14J56EVM softwares

Part Number: TSW14J56EVM

Hi,

Now,I have four boards,a ADC12J4000EVM、a DAC38j82EVM and two TSW14J56EVMs. One TSW14J56EVM is connected with ADC12J4000EVM .We calll it TSW1. And another is connected with DAC38J82EVM. We call it TSW2. They form a completed system. The signal from DAC is the input of ADC. Now  I want to use one HSDC PRO software to control TSW2 give a input to DAC38J82EVM and then control TSW1 collect the output data from ADC12J4000EVM . The HSDC PRO software do not need be closed in the whole progress .This picture below show the progress. So there is any solution to make it come true?

Thanks.

  • Hello Peng

The current version of HSDC Pro software cannot connect to two TSW boards at the same time.
There are 2 possible ways to run two TSW boards simultaneously.

Option 1 (this is the most proven method)
    Use Two PCs.
    PC1 connected to TSW1 and ADC12J4000EVM.
    PC2 connected to TSW2 and DAC38J82EVM.

Option 2 (this is worth trying, but doesn't always work)
    Use One PC.
Rename the existing HSDC Pro installation folder at: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro" to a new folder name, something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro Two"
Then install another copy of HSDC Pro into the default location.
It should be possible to launch both versions of HSDC Pro (two HSDC Pro desktop bookmarks will need to point to the two different locations).
Then from each instance of HSDC Pro you select the desired TSW board using the serial number information.

    I hope this is helpful.
    Best regards,
