We are redesigning a design with a ADS1242IPWT in it. Can you tell me something about its product longevity?

    Hi Pieter,

    In general TI will keep making a device as long as it is possible to build the device. 

    See the section on the web page linked below called "What is TI's policy on product withdrawal or discontinuance?"

    Sometimes there are issues that make it difficult to build due to package or fabrication capability.  At this time there is no end of life predicted for the ADS1242 so it should still run for many years to come.

    However, if you are making a redesign you may want to consider newer devices with increased capabilities and features.  One such device is the ADS124S06.
