Hi Sir

May DAC081C081 can support I2C in and output 25KHz square waveform output?.

  • Hi Chen,

Thank you for your query. The settling time of DAC081C081 is 4.5us max and the I2C frame length will be < 35us at 1MHz clock frequency. This will give an I2C update rate a bit higher than 25kHz. But the problem is that getting a 1MHz clock frequency in I2C can be a challenge if there are multiple devices on the bus. It is a good idea to go for an SPI device for your requirement. For example, you can use DAC081S101.

But if you want a short answer, it is possible to get 25kHz output from this part.

    Hope that answers your question.
