We use ADS8866 for measuring analogue signals. We use 3 wire mode. Supply voltage is 3V, supply voltage for reference is 3V switched (to reduce power consumption).
In most cases I get data on DOUT. But sometimes DOUT remains low and in that case supply current is approx. 2mA higher. The only way to get ADC working is a power on reset. Is it possible that we enter a Special ADC state (TI uses for production test)?
In the old desing we use ADS8325 and we never had such Problems!
