I am generating two 100 MHz signal from DAC37J84 EVM channel A and B and measuring these in an oscillioscope. As shown in the below figure, I (channel A from DAC) is in green and Q (channel B from DAC) is in blue.
There are certain issues which I have observed regarding the small fraction delay block -
1. Enabling the small fraction delay makes the channel go into saturation. As shown in the figure below, the signal is getting clipped and becoming a square wave. To make it sinusoidal again, I need to reduce the QMC gain. Is it how the small fraction delay normally functions?
2. The small fraction delay is inverting the channels i.e. I is in blue and Q is in green as shown below. Is this how the small fraction delay normally functions?
