Hi, can you please confirm whether VDDA of the IC is filtered through AGND or DGND because in evaluation board's schematic it shows DGND but in PCB layout in the same document it shows AGND. I am referring to TLC5540 Evaluation module's user guide's page 13 figure 2-1 and page 17 figure 3-2 and IC pins 14, 15, 18.

    Muhammad,

    This is a very old EVM and whoever designed it, did not follow the data sheet. I would recommend using the information on page 10 of the data sheet with regards to grounding and power supply considerations.  You will also notice both ground planes are shorted by default on the EVM, which is the recommendation of the data sheet.
