Hi,
I am designing a system that uses multiple ADS1299s in daisy chain mode. The ADS1299s will be in close proximity to each other and I was wondering if it's possible to share any of the capacitors between ADS1299s?
The following (Figure 78 from the ADS1299 datasheet) is the configuration I am basing my design on:
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for using the ADS1299 in your system design.
It is possible to share some of the decoupling capacitors on AVDD, AVSS, and DVDD if all the devices are close to each other. I'll still be recommending to have the 0.1uF for each of the ADS1299. However, we don't recommend sharing the VCAP and VREF capacitors for the best performance of the device.
Thanks.
