Hi team,

What is the I2C bus capacitance of DAC43608?

Can I consider the pin capacitance 10pF of digital inputs as I2C bus capacitance? If so, what is the max value?

Hi,

You can consider 10pF as the I2C pin capacitance. This is typical parameter and we did not characterize across temperature or other conditions to get the min and max values. Having said that, you can assume a +/-10% variation in this number.

Hi,

Its 10pF +/-10% on each I2C pin ( SDA and SCL). This will be the bus capacitance excluding the other devices on the same I2C bus, and trace capacitance etc.

For our device, its 10pF.

Sorry to open this thread again. But we have an additional question.

Could you tell me the operating current of the VrefIN pin? Reference input impedance and Reference input capacitance are descripted in the datasheet but no current data.

Hi,

You can calculate the reference input current using the impedance given in the datasheet.

For example with 2.5V reference, it will be 200uA , with all channels powered on ( 2.5/12.5K)
