I am trying to import a 3rd party unencrypted PSPICE library model into TINA-TI and I receive the following error: "Invalid numeric format: AS2.LINE:43"
There seems to be some incompatible syntax. Can you please give me some guidance as to how I may alter the syntax for compatability? I have attached the file.
Thank you,
Alan Stettler
Alan,
Apparently, the attachment did not make it to the post. If you could post the attachment, I will take a look at the file to see what can be done.
Britt
Britt,
Let's try it again.
Here is the unencrypted PSpice library I am having difficulty importing:
Alan,
Which one of the EPC models are you trying to import? There are several models in the .lib file. I have imported the 1001 and the 1015 previously into TINA.
The easiest way to import the model would be to seperate out the actual model you want to import into a single file and use the new macro wizard on the single model file.
It appears that these models use B elements which would not be supported in PSpice (or TINA). They can be simply converted to G sources, however, you would have to be careful with the syntax changes. Could you use the EPC provided PSpice models instead of the LTSpice models? Here is the location where I obtained the models previously:
http://epc-co.com/epc/DesignSupportbr/DeviceModels.aspx
There is a .zip file containing all of the PSpice models and individual models for the ones listed in the table.
Britt
Britt,
I wish to utilize the EPC2014 model. I used the *.net PSpice file and after a few attempts, I was able to get a the model to function.
Thanks for the guidance,
Alan Stettler
