DLPC230-Q1: Can not connect to DLP5530-PGU-Q1-EVM

Part Number: DLPC230-Q1

Hi, we have bought a DLP5530-PGU-Q1-EVM, and it works well before. But error occurred when I try to connect it today, using DLPC230 Control Program 1.8 Build 1242. And no image projected when powered on.

So, can you locate the problem or guide us to find the problem? And how to repair the EVM if need? Thanks!

It seems that, there is no replay when sending command to DLPC230 from SPI.

Hui Zhu,

I see that control program is recognizing Cheetah. Few things you can check:

SPI connection settings - matches the controller PCB switch settings. See EVM user guide(Table 4)
Check if the PROJ_ON switch is ON.
