DLP4620S-Q1: DLP4620S-Q1

Part Number: DLP4620S-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP5530S-Q1, DLP3030-Q1, DLP3020-Q1

Hello,

I noticed there are many similar title DLP products which can be used for HUD development.

Now I want to ask some questions about A products:  DLP4620S_Q1 and DLP5530S-Q1. You website say all they can be used for HUD development,  Then what is the difference between them?

what  are their size Lx W X H?  They are sold together with RGB  laser diode system?  If so, what the RGB laser wavelength?  if not, does it mean we need to buy the laser diodes modules, design our own collimation and expansion or beam shaping system?

B products:  DLP3030-Q1 and DLP3020-Q1, what is the difference between them?   also the same question as with A produts?    what is the difference between A and B products?

Or if you can recommend the component for constructing a PGU system which is DLP technology based for HUD applications?    Thank you.

  • Hello Ruik -

You can find these details in each device's datasheet documents which are posted on TI.com. Please review the datasheets and let us know of detailed questions. Note the DMD parts are sold individually for mass production.

Some of our DMDs are also sold as part of Evaluation Modules (known as EVMs) which may include RGB LEDs as the illumination source designed into a projection module. Note that EVMs are not meant for mass production and are intended only for evaluation and prototyping. Details of the EVMs can also be found on TI.com.

    Regards,
