Hello, in the schematic diagram "2514151E_NIRSCANNANO_DLPC150_Board_ESD what is the main function of the "J500" connector, and I did not find where this J500 connector is connected to the cable, and in the manual:www.ti.com/.../dlpu030g.pdf link in the F.5 item, It is also not stated where this J500 connector is connected to the cable?, is it required for extended functions?, can I delete this J500 connector?

Hello Chen,

J500 header consists of trigger mode control to trigger DLPC150 to switch between patterns in the pattern sequence. This would be useful if you want to display you own patterns other than the default column and Hadamard pattern sequences base don your applicaiton.

This header is present in PCB but no cables are connected as this is not needed for basic functionality of the spectroscopy.

Yes you can delete his connector if you do not intend to use this but take caution that the TRIG_IN_1 pin of DLPC150 which is connected to this header need to be pulled down
