using DMD DLP for NIR laser application

Hi, dear all

We are trying to integrate the DMD to our 950nm pulse laser system for image patterning application. I have searched the related DLP products and there is DLP4500NIR option for NIR wavelength application and there might be the only choice I can find so far (or I lost something). Considering the pattern resolution and pattern rate, we actually want to buy DLP® LightCrafter™ 6500 Evaluation Module for our application.

We are wondering if there is a custom option to have a NIR version of 6500 evaluaiton module for the reflectoin efficiency, like with different mirror coating or different window. I am not familiar with DLP that well, and maybe it is not that simple to modify.

I have contacted with my local distributors and not gotton final answer yet. They also encourge me to come here to look for the answer.

Please let me know if there is any further information that I missed.

Hello ccmkn,

Our current NIR offerings are the DLP4500NIR and the DLP2010NIR. The DLP6500 is not available with a window optimized for the NIR spectrum at this time.

Try taking a look at this post and other similar posts on E2E for direction on your application.

So sad that we can't have NIR version of DLP6500. Thanks your information. I will study the post you suggested and get a best solution from what we can have.
