Problem with PROM

Our research group bought a set of the DLP@Discovery4000.  Now I met a big problem. Here is the detailed description of what happened to the kit.

1   When the power supply is connected , all the LEDs are flashing correctly. When reset button is pushed , an image showing 16 blocks (one block white ,one block black , alternately from top to bottom) appeared. When I cofigured the FPGA with a program wrote by myself through JTAG , the DMD just turned to a pale color but did not  display the image I defined. I tried testing the device with the software DLP@Discovery4000Explorer (connected by USB) , the same phenomenon happened, no picture showing on the DMD.

2 I thought the problem might come from the Xilinx prom xcf16p so I cofigured the chip by xga.mcs which is provided to us with AppsFPGA_Test_Pattern_Zigzag_XGA. This time, when the reset button is pushed , LED D2 stayed red and never turned green, the rest LEDs are flashing correctly. I cofigured the FPGA with appsfpga.bit(also provided to us with AppsFPGA_Test_Pattern_Zigzag_XGA) through JTAG, the image showing 16 blocks(one block white ,one block black , alternately from top to bottom)  appeared. But DMD can not show other images. DLP@Discovery4000Explorer did not work either.

So what might be the problem? Is there any method we can check the board by ourselves? By the way, we checked every test point on the board, all the voltages are correct. And all the jumpers remain the same place as the first day we bought them.

Thank you very much for your kind attention!
