[DLP Lightcrafter 2000] How can I turn the projector off (Power save mode)??

Hi,

I am currently using a BBB + Lightcrafter 2000 setup. Everything is working fine, but I cant figure out how to turn off the projector without pulling the power cord. I'm currently using this for a project where we wish to stop projection on entering a power saver mode. Any suggestions on how this can be done?

Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

There's actually an external PROJ_ON line that you can drive to power the system on and off. However, this line does not feed to the controller unless you also drive the HOST_PRESENTZ line to indicate you are using a host processor (e.g. the BBB).
