Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2, TIDA-01347, DLPC3439, DLPC4422, DLP660TE
I've bought the DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2 but I notice its using FUll HD DLP4710 shipset.
So, can I replace the internal chipset with TIDA-01347 0.66" chipset?

Siong,
Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.
The DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2 supports the DLPC3439 controller and the DLP4710 DMD. DMDs require specific controllers to work. In this case, the 0.66" chipset you linked above is the DLP660TE DMD, which is supported by the DLPC4422 and not the DLPC3439. These chipsets are not compatible in the method you are describing.
A reference design kit for the DLP660TE is available here:

I hope this helps.

My next question will be…
Do I need to buy a whole set of EVM for DLP660TE? What’s the part number?
Cause I only see the DMD board for TIDA01347.
I mean how to get the complete set of EVM with DLP660TE and DLPC4422 like DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2?
Hello Siong,
Kindly refer to the following link to know more about DLPDLCR660TEVM - https://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR660TEVM
The link for the EVM user's guide is as follows - https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/dlpu077a/dlpu077a.pdf

Mayank
I've downloaded the dlpu077a.pdf. But I notice in the 1.4 "Other Items Needed for Operation" statement says that I'll need
Power supply ( Section 4.1)
Mini-USB cable: A to B USB cable
Optics
Illumination module and source
Front-End Vx1 Source capable of running at 600MHz pixel clock
Can you help to advise where can I get all these items?
Siong,
The team will investigate and let you know on the same when we have more information to share in the next few days.
Best Regards,
Philippe
Siong,
> There are power supply requirements in Section 4.1 for you.
> The Mini-USB cable is a standard cable which can be purchased from many retailers.
> For the rest, you may need to consult our DLP design house partners for assistance: https://www.ti.com/dlp-chip/display-and-projection/standard-chipsets/buy-optical-engine/partners.html
