Migration to 4.x kenel. Problem with EDMA. Sitara AM335x.

I'm working for integrate Logi-bone and beaglebone black project.  The logi-bone is using for captured  video from a camera (OV7670) and send captured data to BBB over GPMC bus. For transfer I'm using EDMA. My kernel space driver based on this guide processors.wiki.ti.com/.../EDMA_sample_test_application and 3.8.13 kernel. On 3.8.13 kernel everything work fine. I decided upgrade my system and migrate to 4.1.X kernel. The source code of kernel I took from github.com/.../linux (4.1 branch). For build system I use buildroot-2016.02. After successful build rootfs and boot system I have found that I can't build my kernel-space driver because linux/platform_data/edma.h file doesn't contains necessary functions and defines (like as edma_stop, edma_start ...). In vanilla 4.1.x kernel everything OK. I think it's happened because TI decided migrate to new technology work with EDMA based on DMA engine.

Could you help me find tutorial or migration guide for work with new DMA API?
It's look like as common problem for all programmers which using DMA and decided migrate from 3.X.X kernel to 4.X.X.
