Are you using the SN75LVDS83B not the sn75lvds83, correct? Can you attach your schematic for the sn75lvds83? It sounds like the RGB input is not connected correctly.

I think your connections are incorrect. 

Do you have a picture like this from your panels datasheet?

It should look something like this:

I think what we need to see is the diagram from the panel side to see which R/G/B bits are mapped to which LVDS bit positions. Can you please share that diagram instead of the one from the SoC side?

Hi Marcello,

It seems that you are only using R0-R5, G0-G5, B0-B5 if you are trying to convert 24-bit video data to 18 bit video data you need to use R2-R7, G2-G7, B2-B7. This is why you are seeing the strange color shift.
