DS160PR410: Does DS160PR410 support ASPM function?

Hi team,

My customer is asking that does our device can support ASPM to save power on DS160PR410?

Customer found that if they enable the APSM function on the system, that will cause the system hang.

  1. PCI Express Root Port3，L1 Substates, fromL1.1 & L1.2 change to disable =>Hang
  2. PCI Express Root Port3，ASPM from L1 change to L0s =>Not Hang
  3. PCI Express Root Port3，ASPM from L1 change to Disable =>Not Hang

    Hi Oliver,

    ASPM needs to be supported by the end point. DS160PR410 is a redriver and there should be an end point attached in this application. Can you please confirm if end point by itself does support ASPM? In our lab, we have noticed similar thing but it is mainly dependent on the end point not the redriver like DS160PR410.
