SN75LVDS83B: to support 16bits mode, RGB565

We have a working condition to use the device as RGB565 input, but there do not have much details in the datasheet, so could we support this mode? and if yes, is there some more details?

You would need to follow the Table 2. Pixel Data Assignment section to map out the input data.

Thanks for the help, and we have read the table, it is not mentioned the 16bits mode, and customer need 16bits mode, with 5, 6, 5 arrangement, could our device support? and if yes, is some reference we can take?

Hi Jason,

It's all about TCON input format. You can map the RGB565 such that the correct color goes on to the correct pins.

For our device, we dont care if you are sending RGB888 or RGB666 or RGB565.
