DS90UB927Q-Q1: DS90UB927 and DS90UB928 communication problems

Part Number: DS90UB927Q-Q1

The situation is like this. Our company has a central control multimedia system of a split machine. DS90UB927 is in the host machine and DS90UB928 is on the screen, which can transmit and display normally. Now there is a new project of HUD, the on-board 928 chip. I tried to connect the output signal of the central control 927 to the HUD, but the display is not normal, and the LVDS signal of the output end of the quantity 928 is not quite right either. The circuit of HUD 928 is connected according to the circuit on the central control screen, which should be able to display normally in theory. I don't have a clue, maybe I can't consider some places, so I hope you can help me.

  • Hi Ken,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Normally, you can swap the deserializer to any device or the same device. However, when you swap to the HUD display, you must configure the correct video timing for the HUD. Otherwise, it will not working.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.
