TUSB544: How to adjust the EQ of TUSB544

Hi Sir,

When I was debugging the TUSB544, I found that the signal cannot be output after passing through the TUSB544. Then I compared the same products and noticed that there is signal output without adding TUSB544. By checking the Log I learned that the product can be set to adjusting the bandwidth state.

Therefore, I think if TUSB544 does not increase the gain and let the signal pass directly, this problem may be solved. So I don’t want to do EQ enhancement and pull down both DEQ and UEA ground with 1KΩ resistor. The schematic is as follows,

I was wondering if my approach is feasible? Or you can give a better suggestions to solve the problem of no signal output.

Hi,

The TUSB544 does not provide a EQ bypass function. So if you set UEQ and DEQ with 1k resistor, there is still EQ applied to both upstream and downstream signal/

Can you please share the schematic in .pdf format for review? Look at the screen shot, it looks like the connection between the TUSB544 and the Type-C connector is not correct.
