Customer looking for 10G-KR Mux solution for their application.

They need 4 inputs -> 1 output, data rate up to 10Gpbs for 10G-KR. (intel 10GKR*4 -> ASIC 10G-KR*1)

Did we have suitable solution for this? thanks.

Hi,

I could use more explanation on the customer's application.

Is the customer planning on using a mux to switch/select between four different steams of 10GbE serial data to output?
Or, are they simply looking for XAUI to KR data conversion?

Hi,

If the customer needs interface multiple channels of 10G-KR and the data per channel is strictly 10Gbps serial, they may consider TI's DS125DF1610 retimer. This retimer implements a 4x4 crosspoint per quad of channels

For XAUI to KR conversion, TI has multiple SerDes part numbers from our TLK product family

Hi Rodrigo,

After discussion with customer, they are looking for 10KR to 10GKR solution like our TLK family.

But the low speed side is only support up to 5Gbps.

Does TLK family have solution to support 10Gbps for both side?

Unfortunately we do not have 10G serial in/10G serial out TLK PHY part number available. We only have 10Gbps retimers in the TI high-speed signal conditioning portfolio.
