DP83826E: How to replace KSZ8081MNX by DP83826E for the case of EtherCAT(Beckhoff ET1100)?

I made a board using KSZ8081.
For various reasons, I need to replace it with DP83826.

About requirement, My apologies if my answer is not right.
-Use ET1100 (only strap configuration.=PDI do not control MI Interface.)
 ※For example, the necessary board is "BOOSTXL-ETHERCAT" that it works by DP83826 instead of DP83822.

-Redesign to solve a difference  is available.
 In the current board:<cf.DP83826 with ET1100.pdf>
  ->work Basic mode
  ->difference of strap
  ..other difference

I know "snla344a KSZ8081MNX/RNB to DP83826 System Rollover".
Though... This report is about DP83826 on Basic Mode.

EtherCAT needs "DP83826 EXTEND Mode", doesn't it?

Use it as DP83826 only strap, not write register.(With ET1100 limitations.)
 "DP83826 Basic Mode" can't output LINK_MII(ET1100 input). Pin31 is TX_ER.
  impossible to do:
   "2.4 2.4 Speed Strap on Pin 31"
   "2.6 Configuring LED_1 for Tx and Rx Activity for EtherCAT Slave (DP83826 Basic Mode)".

We have a design for EtherCAT Slave, which makes use of BCM5241XA1KMLG.  But we understand that BCM5241XA1KMLG is reaching towards EOL.  Now we intend to use DP83826I in Enhanced mode,  and this thread looks to be interesting.  Is it possible to get additional information?
