LMH0303: Reproduction of rise time and fall time of LMH0303 by IBIS model

I'm considering the use of LMH0303 and examining its characteristics by simulating it using the IBIS model available on your website.

The IBIS model simulation circuit was created at 2.97 Gbps and the output waveforms were checked, but it did not reproduce the maximum rise and fall times of 130 psec as described in the datasheet.

Please tell me how to reproduce the maximum value of rise and fall time (130psec) using this IBIS model.

Maximum 130ps was measured only during device characterization across multiple devices and temperature.

1. Can the output waveform of 130ps maximum be reproduced by the published IBIS model?

2. Is the maximum value of 130 psec the result of actual measurement using an evaluation board, etc.?

Greetings Hidetoshi-san,

1). When IBIS got generated. this was not the intention. Typically, instead, IBIS-AMI model is used for AC parametrics.

2). Yes the maximum value was determined based on the actual measurements using parts from different lots. This is done before product gets released. Please note this parameter is not checked in production.

PRBS10 data pattern 1m B1694A Cable - per SMPTE specification - was used for this measurement.

Are the "Tjit (additive output jitter)" and "VSDO (output voltage swing)" listed in the datasheet also measurements taken with the same cable and PRBS10 data pattern?
