XIO2001: XIO2001 PCB Layout

Part Number: XIO2001

Are there any trace length restrictions for PCIe (Pin 87/88), (Pin 93/94), (Pin 80/81) of XIO2001PNP? The same pair length complies with the IC specification?

Is there a need for snake routing to increase the anti-interference ability?

  • Hi Jason,

These are 100-ohm differential trace. Mainly these need to be impedance controlled and positive and negative need to be length matched. It is a good design practice to avoid sharp trace movement/layout and avoid vias if possible.
