DP83869HM: LED Funcnality in Media Converter Mode (100BASE-T to 100BASE-Fx)

The LED functions is expected to work in all configuration.  Please note that these have dependencies on the strap configuration.

Id the system functional or are you seeing any issue.

Have you got the schematics or design verified from TI ?

Attaching the DP83869 schematic for your reference. Please review it and let us know you feedback. Also, we want to display the following conditions with the help of LEDs-

1) Link is stablished over fiber (via green LED)

2) Error into Link or Tx/Rx activity over fiber (via yellow LED)

We are using DP83869 as media converter (100BASE-T to 100BASE-Fx) into our design and done the strapping accordingly. You have suggested to set LED_0 pin to 1 for fiber force mode but this pin is used when we use DP83869 as1000BASE-T to 1000BASE-F media converter. That's why we have kept the LED_0 pin open into our design. Also, there is internal pull-down on LED_0 pin.

Please let us know do we need to connect the LED_0 pin with VDDIO in 100BASE-T to 100BASE-Fx media converter mode or we can left it open in the design with pull-up/pull-down option on board.
