Which of the above (HVDA100-Q1 vs. HVDA195-Q1) is preferable for VTS -Automotive design application ?

    Hi Madhura,

    Both of these devices are suitable for automotive k-line applications. The SN65VHDA100-Q1 is a newer design and uses a more modern process, so if the specification differences are not a concern (operational voltage range) this device would be preferable between the two. 

    You may also want to consider the even newer TLIN1027-Q1 LIN transceiver with k-line support. This would be our newest k-line supporting device and will have the best long-tern supply potential for new designs.
