TUSB217A-Q1: DC boost level strength compare with TUSB211-Q1 EQ level

Hi Team,

My customer plan to use TUSB217-Q1 to replace TUSB211-Q1 due to L/T issue. We found that the pin6 name was from EQ to BOOST. I assumed both of two have the same function, equalize the signal. Is it correct?

And my question is that are the DC boost level strength same as TUSB211-Q1 EQ level?

In addition, which part do we need to check if we use TUSB217-Q1 to replace TUSB211-Q1? Thank you.

    Hi Roy,

    I recommend promoting the TUSB216-Q1 here as it is the same package a TUSB211-Q1. The Boost pin controls both AC boost (EQ) and DC boost (TUSB211-Q1 does not have DC boost, TUSB212-Q1 does). TUSB216-Q! and TUSB217-Q1 have stronger AC boost and optimized DC boost for long cable applications.
