HD3SS3202: Schematic review

Part Number: HD3SS3202

Hi Team,

Goo day! I'm posting this in behalf of the customer.

 As per customer:

I am designing a network router. Part of the design is to use SGMII MUX to switch between two PHY ICs that are connected to Ethernet connector . I have selected HD3SS3202 IC as it suitable for this as well as I have seen it used in reference design to achieve the same configuration.

I have just a small doubt with regards to the SEL pin which is either pulled high or low to switch between the two PHY chips. I read the data sheet which state that the SEL pin can be controlled by an available GPIO pin within the system or from microcontroller. But In my case I want to toggle the SEL pin with 0 ohm resistor to change between high and low (Adding R503 will pull it down & removing R503 will pull it high). Please find attached schematic for HD3SS3202 I have design. Please confirm the part for SEL pin was designed right so I can send my board to manufacturing.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Jonathan
