Currently, our costumer can’t get TRS202E.

Therefore, They are looking for a replacement.

Do TRS202E and MAX202 use the same wafer?

I understand that the difference between TRS202E and TRS202 is the ESD rating.

Do TRS202E and TRS202 use the same wafer?

So, only ESD test criteria are different in your factory.

    Hi Hide,

    1. As the thread you linked - those are identical parts as confirmed by TI in the same thread.

    2. The "E" version has additional ESD specifications and is offered in more packages variants - those are the differences between the parts those two parts.

    Thank you for the information.

    So, Iunderstand that TRS202E, TRS202 and MAX202 are the same wafer.

    Is my understanding correct?

    Hi Hide-san,

    They are spec'd similarly and are tested to what is in the datasheet and can be interchanged, as long as temperature range and package variant is consistent across devices as some there are some packages that are not offered for all devices and some of these devices are offered in multiple temperature ranges  - that is the information I can share publicly. From a technical standpoint the parts are extremely similar.
