LMH1297: single chip solution of LMH1208 and LMH1219

Our customer is looking for LMH1208 and LMH1219 single chip solution product. Then he has a question if LMH1297 can work as 12G UHD-SDI driver and 12G UHD cable equalizer with reclocker.

If this deice does not support, please tell us any recommended device,

Yes LMH1297 can work as cable equalizer OR cable driver. In either case, the reclocker is enabled.

Since reclocker is enabled in LMH1297 cable driver path, can we also understand that LMH1297 is able to be alternative product as LMH1218 LMH1228.

Hi Toshihiro-San,

Yes your understanding is correct. You can use LMH1297 cable driver as alternate to the LMH1228 or LMH1218 devices.
