Hi team, 

In which condition does it need external ESD protection circuit? 

Datasheet "Figure 10-1. Using TIC10024-Q1 to Monitor a Digital Switch in Body Control Module Application" includes external ESD circuit RESD and CESD. But it has internal ESD protection circuit and its EVM does not have external ESD protection...
