TUSB211: schematic and layout issue

Part Number: TUSB211
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB216I,

Hi Sir,

could you help check if the schematic and layout are correct? thanks for your great help and support.

  • Hi Tommy,

For the Schematic, it looks good for the most part, I just have two suggestions. Firstly, for the capacitance attached to the VCC Pin, you might want to consider splitting that up into 2 parallel capacitors, this will reduce the noise even more than the current decoupling capacitor will. Another suggestion I have is potentially switching to the TUSB216I, as it is more up to date and could boost performance even more. I will attach the link to the page here, there, you can find a datasheet and guide to replacing a TUSB211 if needed. (https://www.ti.com/product/TUSB216I#product-details)

For the Layout, it looks to be right, but I can't be 100% certain without the file for the layout to get the specific measurements. If you could possibly send that so we can make sure everything is right, I would appreciate it.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good rest of your day!

    Thanks,

    Ryan
