SN65LBC180: Differential output voltage magnitude

Part Number: SN65LBC180
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LBC180,

Hello,

SN65LBC180 and SN75LBC180 have different min. voltages in terms of differential output voltage magnitude, in addition to the operating temperature range.
Does SN65LBC180 have the same characteristics as SN75LBC180 if it is used in the "0°C to 70°C" range?

Best regards,

DDdoor

  • Hi DDdoor,

It should be similar in performance in the 0C-70C range - as the differences in performance are largely due tested temperature range (65 has an larger temperature range that goes colder and hotter allowing for lower numbers as seen in datasheet) and they all share typical values (which are taken at ~25C) . The caveat here is that we didn't characterize this device in the 0C to 70C range - it was a different test temperature, so while it should be very similar I can't 100% guarantee that it will due to it not being characterized that way.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Best,

    Parker Dodson
