Hi team,

Does it need a big circuit change when customer change TCAN4550 to TCAN4551? do we have a guide book?

From Compare products with TCAN4550-Q1 | TI.com, it looks like no changes needed. want to confirm that.

    Hi Yuan,

    These devices are similar, but note that the TCAN4551-Q1 does not provide a regulated 5-V output that can be used for external loads. Depending on the use for the LDO output in the customer's current design for the TCAN4550-Q1, it might require a layout/schematic change.

    The other main difference between the two devices is that the TCAN4551-Q1 does not include watchdog functionality. Since this is controlled via SPI, it would likely require only a software change rather than a hardware change.
