BQ24392: BQ24392 typical application

Hi Team,

Could you share with me more info regarding to the typical application? our datasheet says it can enable & disable the data path and detect the chargers. Then how we turn on and off the internal switch? by detect the charger is inserted or not?

Also could you give me some examples that we need to detect the charger and control the data path?

If the GOOD_BAT pin is high, the USB 2.0 switches are automatically closed to enable data transfer after the
device detects a SDP or CDP was connected.

Thanks! So which application need this requirement? seems to me like the power should be exist first, then the data transfer can start..

Mason:

it can not charge and data transfer at the same time. it's used for tablets, and other battery operated
electronics to be charged from different adapter.
