Hi all

Please find a question from my customer copied below.

Can you review and comment ?

Best regards

------------------------------------

I need some help from TI regarding the test setup to measure VOS for this part.

Can I setup the buffer in this way shown below for measuring the VOS?

I just need to do a quick measurement to test if the connection/soldering of the chip is good during functional test.

  • Hello Ueli,

Looking at the datasheet, this device has a recommend receiver input voltage of 0V to Vcc. However, care should be taken not to surpass the max differential voltage of the device. I would not recommend having such a large voltage swing between IN+ and IN-.

Having IN+ equal to 1.375V (~1.4V) and IN- equal to 1.025 (~1V) should be fine. This makes sure the max differential voltage is not reached and it satisfies the high/low differential threshold of +/- 100mV.
