DS90UB962-Q1: I2C master Proxy

Part Number: DS90UB962-Q1

Hi Expert,

For the I2C master Proxy a below, from my understanding, this function allows real I2C master to access slave device on the Deserializer side, right? Then as for the real I2C master, I know it can be MCU located on serializer. But can serailzer itself, such as 933 or 935, act as I2C master? Thanks.

BR,

Elec Cheng

  • Elec,

The serializer will act as a master device when a master device on the deserializer side tries to access a remote slave device that is located on the serializer side using the bidirectional control channel. Otherwise the serializer will act as a slave device.

    Best Regards,
