SN65C1168E-SEP: Package Thermal Resistance

Part Number: SN65C1168E-SEP

Hello,

On the data sheet for the part listed above, I've found the theta JA thermal impedance listed.  However, I was wondering if you could provide a representative junction-to-case or junction-to-board thermal resistance for any of the SN65C1168-SEP components instead, as those would be more applicable to our assessment.

    Hi Wyatt,

    Sorry for the delay - I am going to try to put in a request for thermal modeling for this device as we do not have it right at this time - usually we can get it within about 2 weeks - but it may be a bit longer with Thanksgiving in the US this week. Also as a note - I don't think it should be a huge issue - but since this is special device it may be a bit harder to get the information. I will let you know if this is the case - otherwise it should take about a couple weeks.
