Dear Sir:
TMUXHS4412 Data Rate Issue
TMUXHS4412 4-Channel 20 Gbps Differential.
1. It means the each channel Differential signal can Data rate support up to 20 Gbps.
Is it correct?
2. or 4-Channel 20 Gbps Differential. Each channel Differential signal can Data rate support up to 5 Gbps only? 20 Gbps/4-Channel = 5 Gbps/channel.
Please check to reply us asap.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Vincent
Dear Sir:
1.Regarding the TMUXHS4412 Data rate
1-1 each channel Differential is 20Gbps.
*D0P / D0N: Differential Data rate 20Gbps.
*D1P / D1N: Differential Data rate 20Gbps.
*D2P / D2N: Differential Data rate 20Gbps.
*D3P / D3N: Differential Data rate 20Gbps.
Is it correct?
1-2. Use 4-Channel, the total Data rate = 4* 20Gbps = 80 Gbps
Is it correct?
1-3 If use the only one channel.
D0P / D0N: Is Data rate still 20Gbps(max)?
or Can Data rate be up to 80Gbps(max) because use one channel ( the others 3ch no use)?
2. Regarding the TMUXHS4212 Data rate
2-channel 16-Gbps 2:1/1:2 differential mux/demux
2-1 each channel Differential is 16Gbps.
*A0P / A0N: Differential Data rate 16Gbps.
*A1P / A1N: Differential Data rate 16Gbps.
Is it correct?
2-2. Use 2-Channel, the total Data rate = 4* 16Gbps = 32 Gbps
Is it correct?
2-3 If use the only one channel.
A0P / A0N: Is Data rate still 16Gbps(max)?
or Can Data rate be up to 32Gbps(max) because use one channel ( the other one no use)?
2-4 B0P/B0N description: connector side.
It doesn’t understand why B0P/B0N has the description connector side
B0P/B0N can connect to connector side only? C0P/C0N cannot?
Please check to reply us asap.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Vincent
max data rate of each channel is 20Gbps, no matter one channel or 4 channels are used.

1: correct.
2; there is no difference between B0P/N, C0P/N, they can connect either side

Dear Sir:
Regarding the TMUXHS4412 application.
1.Does TMUXHS4412 support the Ethernet Interfaces ( 10GBASE-T 4-pair UTP 10Gbps)?
2. Does TMUXHS4412 support the UFS2.1 & 3.1 Interface.( 4channel )?
UFS 3.1:
*VDIFF High-speed signal pins differential voltage(VPP) : 280~620mV
*VCM: High speed signal pins common mode voltage(V) : 160~310mV
UFS 2.1:
*VDIFF High-speed signal pins differential voltage(VPP) : 280~500mV
*VCM: High speed signal pins common mode voltage(V) : 160~260mV
UFS Ver |
Bandwidth per lane (Differential Signal) |
2.1 HS |
5.8Gbps |
3.1 HS L |
11.6Gbps |
Please check to reply it asap.
Thanks a lot.
Best Regards,
Vincent
Vincent:
1: should work, can you send VDIFF and Vcm as well?
2; will work.
Regards
Brian
Dear Sir:
For UFS2.1 & 3.1 Interface.( 4channel ) application
Use TMUXHS4212(16Gbps/2ch) * 2pcs IC to support the UFS2.1 & 3.1 Interface.( 4channel ).
It will work. Is it correct?
Please check to reply it asap.
Thanks
B.R
Vincent
you mean one 4212 support UFS2.1 and another support UFS3.1? it should work.
Regards
brian
Dear Sir:
Please check the following block diagram.
Use TMUXHS4212(16Gbps/2ch) * 2pcs IC to support the UFS2.1 & 3.1 Interface.( 4channel ).
It will work. Is it correct?
Please check to reply us asap.
