Hi,

We are using TRS3222EIDBR in our product and Digikey and Mouser are showing End of life of this product.

Can you confirm that this part will no longer be available and I need to change the design ?

Does TI have any drop in replacement ?

Both DigiKey and Mouser link to the PCN, which tells you to use the MAX3222E‍IDBR instead. (TRSxxx and MAXxxx devices are exact replacements for each other.)

I can see that the device is still labeled as active on our ti.com website:

I can reach out to our marketing team to verify but as Clemen's pointed out the TRS devices are functionally pin to pin with our MAX devices.

Yes. I have the same doubt. why TI website is showing TRS3222E as active part when Digikey and Mouser is showing as EOL.

TRS3223E are functionally equivalent part replacements for the MAX3223E just as Clemens has stated.

I believe Bobby is contacting the marketing team to verify this matter. Please allow some time for the marketing team to process this request.

Hi Bitesh,

I spoke with our marketing engineer and she has confirmed that the TRS3222E devices will all be EOL'd next year. This change has to do with TI moving from 200mm wafer technology into 300mm wafer technology. The replacement part that will be converted to 300mm wafer technology as a pin to pin replacement will be the MAX3222E.
