Hi

The datasheet shows 2 footprints

which one to choose?

    Both are correct; there are two manufacturing sites using different lead frames. You cannot choose when ordering, and might even get both in the same reel.

    You have to use a footprint that can handle both pads.

    This  datasheet shows 2 land pattern example

    1.45 or 1.68, which one to use

    Hi Allen,

    These are land pattern examples and can be changed based upon your specific design needs. You could technically go with the smaller land pattern example of 1.45. This would solder on just fine with the RGT0016C. Although slight difference in sizing, the solder joint between the landing and the thermal connection would be sufficient to dissipate heat from the chip. 

    If you are worried about the mismatch, you can always go with the larger land pattern example to cover both RGT0016A/C drawing areas in full.
