AM26LS32A: Differential input

Hi Team,

I would like to clarify if I can connect the differential input (ex. A1 and 1B) with a voltage difference of around 24V max. The recommended common-mode input is +/-7V but the max is +/-25V.

What is the possible effect of this if I went near the max +/-25V?

When you exceed the recommended operating conditions, the device might no longer work correctly.

If your signal is switching between a differential of 24 V, usually we tend to see that in real-world applications, there could be overshoot/undershoot on A and/or B that causes the differential to actually exceed 24 V. Or, do you possibly mean that your peak overshoot/undershoot is 24 V?

If you routinely exceed 25 V during use, the device's lifetime could be degraded.
